Neil has been writing songs and playing guitar for more than 20 years. He has played bass for Derby-based 'Neverland' that were support to The Stranglers, Hazel O'Conner, Paul Newman and the Levellers. He has also played support to The Hampsters and Ian Dury's band The Blockheads. He played some big venues including The Princess Charlotte and Rock City. He has mainly played covers for the past 10 years or so for many different bands, mainly rock influenced. His inspiration comes from his dad, who was session musician to The Who, The Hollies, and Saxon. Neil is the main songwriter for RE:SESSION and says "The best is yet to come".

 

Chris George, Vocals.

A talented newcomer to the music industry, Chris is keen to make his mark and cement RE:SESSION's reputation as one of the best up and coming bands around. Although being new to the scene Chris is no stranger to the entertainment business having grown up in a musical household with his mum being a singer of over 15 years. As well as this influences such as Michael Buble, Aerosmith and Eminem have all contributed to a distinctive and versatile vocal sound which fronts the band. Hip Hop, Rock, Pop Punk…. Capable of adapting to to a number of musical genres means nobody leaves unsatisfied after seeing Chris and RE:SESSION perform.

 

Jonny Eames, Drums.

Jonny Eames a.k.a. "The Stumpster" always fancied being a drummer, but didn't think it was possible for someone with one arm to play drums after a music teacher at school said that there "wasnt much point". Jonny and Neil have been friends for 12 years. He discovered Jonny seemed to be a natural percussionist after seeing him tapping away to the music that was playing in the Bar where they first met. "His timing is fantastic". Neil encouraged him to go for it and finally 3 years later, Jonny brought his first acoustic drum kit but after a year, he figured an electronic kit would benifit him further. Jonny then got together along with Neil, Biff and Nean in 2000 to start a band.

Jonny's inspired by the likes of Motley Crue's Tommy Lee and Lars Ulrich of Metallica. He enjoys all music genres. Jonny says "I'm proud to be in a great band with such great friends".

 

Biff, Bass Guitar.

Andy a.k.a. “Biff” started out as a drummer before learning the rhythm guitar and singing, until he met Jonny and Neil in Measham back in 2000. A band started to form with the three of them and once best friend Nean Maskery had been recruited on rhythm guitar they soon felt ready to gig.  “We never took things too seriously and within a year or so we all went our separate ways”. Andy joined a band as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for a while and then out of the blue in December 2008 Jonny proposed a position for bassist in RE:SESSION.
